Aston Tapestry was "born" out of the need for high quality tools and equipment for use by a dedicated tapestry weaver. In other words, I couldn't find the equipment I knew would help me be a better weaver. My search resulted in a business relationship with John Shannock that allows me to produce Shannock Looms and equipment. Shannock loom designs have been perfected over a period of 30 years by John Shannock and are the "gold standard" in tapestry weaving circles.

Along the way I have produced tapestry textile art for exhibition and sale. The purpose of my tapestry is to tell a story, not unlike the tapestries of the Medieval period. I do it with a contemporary and Nordic style.
